A fusion of Malaysian drum beats follows silver chariot to Batu Caves (The Star, 23/1/2008)
Petikan:
In the spirit of togetherness or muhibbah, a fusion of musical beats ushered the silver chariot bearing Lord Murugan from Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur, to the Batu Caves Temple on Thaipusam eve.
The music, organised by Selangor, Wilayah Persekutuan News Vendors Association, featured the beats of the kompang, bhangra, lion dance and urimi melam.
Kampung Batu Muda provided the kompang accompaniment, Bobcat’z Muhibbah Lion Dance Team performed the lion dance while the Shan-e-Punjab and the Om Sri Rajakotai Muniswaran hit the bhangra and urimi melam beats respectively.

To some Muslims, wishing the non-Muslims with Merry Christmas or any of their religious festivals is haram (forbidden).
On Christmas day, Imam Khomeini gave a message to all the Christians of the world that the news agents broadcast. As well as this message, he told us to distribute gifts to the residents of Neauphel-le Chateau. These were usually Gaz (a type of confectionary), Aajeel (dried nuts or seeds or fruits) and Shireeni (sweet items) that some brothers had brought from Iran. We carried this out and next to each package, we placed a flower stem.
In the places we went to, we sensed that many in the West were not familiar with this kindness and love, even between fathers and their children, They felt it very strange that the night of the birth of the Prophet of the Christians, a non-Christian Iranian leader was so close to them and felt love for them. For example there was a woman who, when she took the Imam's gift, was so overcome that tears rolled down her face.

I have been advocating for some time for people to be honest with each other and not act to be nice with others from different faith just to get a vote.
That a certain segment of Malays try to be nice with non-Muslims, preaching that Hudud law will only apply to Muslims and spare the non-Muslims really disgust me a lot. How come you claim that Hudud is universal law and fair yet it only confines to Muslims? That's also why the Indonesian Muslims say there is no such thing as Hudud law mentioned in the Quran. Most Muslims failed to see the basic idea behind the punishment for stealing and zina in the Quran. To allay the fear of non-Muslims they claimed that Hudud law will exempt the non-Muslims and they will not be affected. Ah such a simple view of how the world's working.
See how the Muslims struggle to answer the questions of Non-Muslims about Hudud law go here

my faith does not rely on what the Indonesians say or think or interpret. i am not in the business of referring to what the Indonesians say or think or interpret.
i have Al-Quran and the tradition of the Prophet, with the guidance of his progeny and those who sincerely follow them.
Who is struggling to explain? i have my own values and i never give a damn to what you or anybody thinks. None can save me from hell!
The most important consideration for me is who and what can bring me closer to Allah s.w.t. and save me from hell. That is what matters.
If you cant share, that is none of my concerns.
This is a very honest reply to all your craps. i hope this is the first and the last time.
Hi
I had written on something that touched my religous sensitivity but came to realised that it is an issue of muhibbah among the various races and religions.
I like to get others to discuss it so I am creating a tag to hear your view on an aspect of Muhibbah and how we as individual can promote Muhibbah. Tag at least 2 others after you're finished.
You can read mine and the simple tag rules here.
Bro, i've nothing more to add..
Ok, let me tag Datuk Ron and Cik Gu Nazir Khan
